Atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer is an effective supplement to atomic absorption spectrum analysis and atomic emission spectrum analysis. It has been widely used in food factories, pharmaceutical factories, cosmetics factories, feed factories, universities, research institutes and other units.

Merits and drawbacks of lab atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer:

1. It has certain advantages for micro injection (microliter level), such as graphite furnace atomic absorption and large multiple automatic dilution.

2. No obvious advantage for atomic fluorescence, because the amount of sample in fluorescence depends on the length of sample ring.

3. The structure is relatively complex. Some manufacturers use two double position reversing valves and one multi-channel valve. Users cannot maintain them by themselves, and they usually need to replace the whole set.

4. The service life of multi-channel valve and directional valve is limited, and the theoretical service life is about three years.

5. It is not suitable for samples with high acidity and insoluble samples, because the reagent directly contacts the valve body, causing serious corrosion.

6. According to the different design of the system pipeline, special cleaning steps may be required, resulting in longer measurement time, and two cleaning positions need to be set.

8. There are many consumables and are difficult to replace them by oneself, while the peristaltic pump only needs the pump pipe, which is extremely simple to replace.
